Let Us Cling!

Moving on in my reading of Zechariah this morning, I found myself, in chapter nine, again being smacked right in the heart by the wonderful promises of our great God! Here Our Lord emphatically declares that He will by His grace protect and save His people as a Shepherd would his flock. And if that were not enough, He will make us to shine like jewels in His land as a reflection of His great goodness and bountiful beauty!

What a powerful reminder of His unwavering love and faithfulness toward His people, especially in the midst of trials and adversity. What confidence we can have that the Lord will always be our provider!

Lord help me to cling to your promises and live with boldness and courage, knowing that you will always be with me, guiding and protecting me every step of the way…
