Let us Trust in Him!

I was reading chapter eight of the book of Zechariah this morning and found it to be a powerful reminder of God’s love and faithfulness towards His people. Our Lord makes it very clear here that His promises to Israel are still relevant today and that He will continue to fulfill them in the future. I’m so encouraged by this chapter of scripture, so encouraged to read of God’s promise to restore Jerusalem and to make it a prosperous city once again. To read of his assurances to us, His people, that He will be with us and that we will be His people, and He will be our God.

This promise of restoration and blessing is not only for the people of Israel but for all of God’s children. As we face challenges in our lives, we can be encouraged by the fact that God is always with us, and His plans for our lives are good. Let us trust in Him and His promises and continue to serve Him faithfully, knowing our reward is in heaven.
